Alumni and friends are invited to share their memories of “Les Préludes"

A group of dancers against a twilight sky

Every year, the musicians and dancers of Interlochen Arts Camp perform “Les Préludes.” The tone poem has been an Interlochen tradition on the final Sunday of Camp since 1928, and its grace and majesty provide the perfect finale to a summer of creativity under the stately pines.

In celebration of “Les Préludes," Interlochen invites alumni and friends to share their memories of the tradition. Former dancers, musicians, and observers alike are welcome to add their thoughts, some of which may be incorporated into a web story and published this summer.

Please add your “Les Préludes" memory using the form below.

Please indicate the years you attended Interlochen Arts Camp as well as Interlochen Arts Academy. Camp format: "IAC 17-18". Academy format: "IAA 18-19".
Were you in the orchestra, did you dance, or did you enjoy it from the audience? Tell us where you were and how the piece moved you!
