Experience an engaging conversation about the writer’s craft and the intentional pursuit of joy as the Interlochen Arts Academy Creative Writing Division and the National Writers Series host acclaimed poet Ross Gay. The author of the New York Times best-selling essay collection The Book of Delights, Gay is the recipient of numerous accolades, including the National Book Critics Circle Award, the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award, and the PEN American Literary Jean Stein Award. Join Gay and interdisciplinary artist Ari Mokdad for a discussion about Gay’s personal creative process and his most recent essay collection, Inciting Joy.
