Acclaimed poet Adrian Matejka comes to Interlochen for a reading, Q&A session, and book signing. A former Poet Laureate of the state of Indiana, Matejka has penned five award-winning poetry collections and earned prestigious accolades including a Pushcart Prize; the New York/New England Award; and fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Guggenheim Foundation, and the Academy of American Poets. Join Matejka as he explores themes of race, cultural identity, poverty, love, and persistence through powerful personal, historical, and biographical works.
