Join the Interlochen Arts Academy Creative Writing Division as they host acclaimed guest authors Alice Bolin and Daniel Hornsby. The evening will include a reading, Q&A session, and book signing.
Alice Bolin is the author of Dead Girls (Harper Collins 2018), a collection of essays about crime, gender, and the American West. Her criticism, personal essays, and journalism have appeared in publications including Elle, Salon, Racked, The Awl, The Los Angeles Review of Books, Vulture, New York Magazine, The Paris Review online, and The New Yorker’s Page-Turner blog.
Daniel Hornsby is the author of the novel Via Negativa (Penguin Random House 2020). He holds an MFA in fiction from the University of Michigan, where he received Hopwood Awards for both short fiction and the novel, and an M.T.S. from Harvard Divinity School. His stories and essays have appeared in the Los Angeles Review of Books, Electric Literature, The Missouri Review, and Joyland.
