An Evening with Animator and Show Creator Julia Pott

Join the Film and New Media program in the DeRoy Center for Film Studies for an evening with Julia Pott, creator of the hit animated series Summer Camp Island running its final season on Cartoon Network and Max. Julia will be sharing her work and career in a live Q&A about her experiences in the animation industry, including her time as a writer on Adventure Time. Julia is an award-winning British animator / illustrator living in Los Angeles. Her films have screened at festivals worldwide including Sundance, TIFF, Annecy and SXSW. She is the creator and executive producer for the GLAADD and Emmy nominated series Summer Camp Island and was named one of the 25 new faces of film by Filmmaker Magazine + is an ADC Young Gun.
