An Evening with Emily Temple

Join the Interlochen Arts Academy Creative Writing Division as they host a reading, Q&A session, and book signing with author and Literary Hub Managing Editor Emily Temple. Temple’s debut novel, The Lightness, received rave reviews from Kirkus and The New York Times Book Review and appeared on dozens of best-of lists, including Glamour’s Best Books of 2020 and The Wall Street Journal Magazine’s Nine Best New Books to Read This Spring. Her short fiction—including the Calvino Prize-winning “Out, Out”—has appeared in the Colorado Review, Electric Literature’s Recommended Reading, and the Sycamore Review, among others. Temple has also published nonfiction works in the Atlantic, The Washington Post, Refinery29, and elsewhere.
