Jason Isbell has carved his niche as “one of the strongest, truest voices in American roots rock” (Allmusic). A former member of the Drive-By Truckers, Isbell pivoted to a prolific career as a songwriter and solo artist; he has released nine studio albums and penned the ballad “Maybe It’s Time” for the 2018 hit movie A Star is Born. His latest album, Weathervanes, scored two Grammy Awards and the No. 12 spot on the Billboard 200. Isbell takes the stage with The 400 Unit for a setlist of hits such as “Cover Me Up,” “If We Were Vampires,” and “Cast Iron Skillet.” Grammy Award-nominated folk singer-songwriter Courtney Marie Andrews opens the performance.
