Witness the dramatic demise of the iconic Roman general and statesman as the Interlochen Shakespeare Festival presents William Shakespeare’s historical tragedy, Julius Caesar. Convinced the Roman republic is threatened by the politician’s abuses, Brutus reluctantly joins a plot to assassinate his friend, Julius Caesar. In the wake of Caesar’s death, Brutus and his co-conspirators clash with Caesar’s allies in a bloody civil war. Don’t miss a gripping tale of fate, honor, and the power of rhetoric starring Interlochen alumni Sydney James Harcourt (Broadway’s Hamilton) and James Ginty (K-19: The Widowmaker).
Join us on the lawn before the show for a free performance. Light refreshments, including water and Shakespeare-themed Moomers Homemade Ice Cream flavors, will be available for purchase during the pre-show festivities.
All proceeds from tickets support student scholarships at Interlochen. Thank you for investing in the artists of tomorrow.
