Experience a high-energy stage adaptation of Rick Riordan’s beloved young adult novel as Intermediate Musical Theatre Production students stage The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. After a class trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art goes awry, 12-year-old Percy Jackson learns that he is the son of the Greek god of the sea, Poseidon. Suspected of stealing Zeus’ missing lightning bolt, Percy must use his newfound powers to clear his name—and prevent an all-out war between the gods. Featuring a book by Joe Tracz and music and lyrics by Interlochen Arts Camp alumnus Rob Rokicki (IAC 96-97), The Lightning Thief will delight audiences of all ages.
