When the performer and the person step to the stage as one, what happens? Will it still be theatre? The PrŌcess invites audiences to witness the last leg of a journey rooted in self-discovery through art. Audiences will experience the point at which the "process" meets "presentation."
Over the course of eight weeks, Arts Academy students learned The heal.be.live. Method, which transforms personal narratives into performances that encourage social impact. Students actively engaged in self-reflection activities, while simultaneously creating a performance piece. The end goal is to strengthen artists as performers by first holding space for them as people.
This devised theatre presentation showcases the personal narratives of students who journeyed The heal.be.live. Method.
