Witness a tragic tale of love, magic, and mistaken identity as the Interlochen Arts Academy Dance Division stages Swan Lake. While hunting in the forest, a prince encounters a beautiful maiden who has been transformed into a swan by a sorcerer’s curse. As the prince attempts to break the enchantment, the sorcerer plots to trick the prince into betraying the woman he loves. Featuring exquisite costumes, dazzling scenic design, and original choreography by Director of Dance Joseph Morrissey, this breathtaking ballet will captivate your senses. Acclaimed ballet conductor Kevin Rhodes leads the Traverse City Philharmonic alongside Interlochen Arts Academy students as they perform Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s iconic score.
