While hunting in the forest, a prince encounters a beautiful maiden who has been transformed into a swan by a sorcerer’s curse. As the prince attempts to break the enchantment, the sorcerer plots to trick the prince into betraying the woman he loves. Featuring exquisite costumes, dazzling scenic design, and original choreography by Director of Dance Joseph Morrissey, this breathtaking ballet will captivate your senses. Conductor Dr. Leslie B. Dunner leads a combined ensemble of Traverse City Philharmonic and Arts Academy Orchestra musicians in Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s iconic score.
