Every residence hall has coin-operated washers and dryers. Each load is $1.50 which can only be paid in quarters. Change machines are located in DeRoy, Picasso, and TJ residence halls. Also, the front desk of the Stone Hotel has $10 rolls of quarters available for purchase. Residence halls also have washers and dryers that accept mobile payment through the free PayRange app (instructions are located on the machines). You will need to bring your own laundry detergent/supplies.
Only DeRoy and Dow House rooms are air conditioned. Please plan to bring your own room fan, if desired.

The Stone Waterfront and Boat Cave areas are for use by faculty and staff. Employees are expected to swim at the Stone Waterfront during posted open hours. Divisional waterfronts are for the use of campers and divisional staff ONLY. Swimming is not permitted at any time in unregulated areas, including, but not limited to: behind Lochaven, between waterfronts near the Intermediate Lakeside grassy area, in front of Dow House, or in front of the lakefront rental cottages.
As safety is our primary concern, all patrons are expected to follow posted waterfront regulations. Swimmers wanting to use the deep-water/raft area or any boating equipment are required to pass the 10-minute swim test. This test consists of swimming 50 yards, putting on & removing a PFD in deep water, then swimming, floating, or treading water for the remainder of 10 minutes. The deep-water area is delineated by buoy lines; untested swimmers must remain in the shallow water area.
The Interlochen State Park (Duck Lake) is located directly across the street from our main campus. You are welcome to utilize their waterfront; however, they do require a recreation passport. Please also respect their facility hours; the waterfront closes at 10:00 p.m.
