Jonathan Newmark (NMC 68, IAC 68) wrote a chamber orchestra, Haber's Law, about chemist Fritz Haber, Nobel Prize-winning inventor of chemical warfare and his pacifist wife, first German female chemistry PhD Clara Immerwahr. Haber's Law had its workshop premiere in June 2022 at the Operation Opera festival at Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington, performed by the Four Corners Ensemble.
Amy (Getter) Berkson (IAA 90-92, ICA St 92) recently joined Guidehouse Consulting as a Senior Consultant with the firm’s National Security Segment. Her team supports executive-level initiatives for the Department of Justice’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Brad Gemeinhardt (IAC 94, IAA 94-96, IAC Valade Fac 11-present) has been appointed Principal Horn of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, after having served as Acting Principal Horn at the Met for the 2021-22 season. He initially joined the Met Orchestra in 2007 and was promoted to Third Horn in 2009. Brad lives in New York City with his wife, Dana, and two children, Alex (IAC 17-20, 22) and Marin (IAC 19-22).
Brenden Wynn (IAC 98, IAA 99-01) is the Director of Primary Care at Dayton Children's Hospital. In 2021, he was listed as one of Dayton Business Journal's 40 under Forty. Brenden serves on the LGBTQ+ Health Alliance for Dayton Public Health and serves on the Board of Directors for the Montgomery County Arts District, which manages the grant and funding process for arts organizations in greater Dayton.
RJ Magee (IAC 02-05, IAA 06-08) is currently appearing in Butch Cassidy and the Sunburnt Kid at The Great American Melodrama and Vaudeville in Oceano, California through August 6, 2022. He is also entering into his third year as an MFA Theatre Arts Candidate at Minnesota State University Mankato.
Clara Warnaar (IAC 02, 04-05; IAA 06-09) has been asked to become a member of the International Contemporary Ensemble, as a percussionist and drummer.
