Jeff Dalton (IAA 76-79) can be heard on Lunar Octet’s latest album, Convergence, (Summit Records) playing electric/acoustic bass along with credits for mixing.
Andy Austin (AS 88, IAC St 89, 90, 15-19) completed a M.M. in saxophone performance at Texas A&M University-Commerce in December of 2020. He began his D.M.A. study, also in saxophone performance, at the University of Southern Mississippi this January.
Alfred L. Martin, Jr. (IAA 91-93) recently released his first book, “The Generic Closet: Black Gayness and the Black-Cast Sitcom,” the first scholarly monograph devoted to the industrial creation and reception contexts of Black gayness on television. Martin is currently assistant professor of media studies at University of Iowa.
Adam Orford (IAA 97-98, IAC St 99) completed his Ph.D. at the U.C. Berkeley Energy and Resources Group and will join the faculty of the University of Georgia School of Law as an assistant professor, teaching environmental law and renewable energy law and policy.
Rad Pereira (IAC 04-05, IAA 06-08, IAC St 08) will appear as Victoria in season two of Betty on HBO. Their forthcoming book will be published by New Village Press in 2022.
