During this one-week intensive, you will work with world-renowned flutists and participate in daily master classes and workshops. Our faculty will help you to develop your tone, artistry, and stage presence in a supportive and focused setting.

Program Highlights

Distinguished Faculty

Our instructors are professional artists who are active participants in the music world. They have dedicated their lives to studying and sharing music. Their mentorship will help you as you continue your music journey.

The Music Center

Our state-of-the-art music facility has two 3,500 square-foot rehearsal halls, two recording studios which allow for rehearsal and performance recordings in multiple venues on campus, multiple ensemble and practice rooms, and individual faculty teaching studios. Learn more about The Music Center.

You are welcome to apply to the Orchestra & Wind Ensemble or Jazz Performance & Improvisation program that both begin immediately after this intensive.

Interlochen is also home to the Arts Academy boarding high school, which offers six music programs for grades 9-12, as well as a post-graduate year.
