Interlochen Arts Camp to celebrate the vibrancy of the arts with summer 2024 performance of “Collage”
An Arts Camp tradition since 1993, “Collage” unites young artists from all seven of the Camp’s artistic disciplines in a dynamic multidisciplinary sampler.
Interlochen Arts Camp will celebrate the vibrancy of the arts and the remarkable talents of its students with the summer 2024 “Collage.”
The performance will take place on Tuesday, July 9 at 7:30 p.m. at Kresge Auditorium. Tickets are $36 for adults and $21 for children and college students and can be purchased online at interlochen.org/tickets, by calling 800.681.5920, or by visiting the Interlochen Box Office.
A highly anticipated Arts Camp tradition since 1993, “Collage” unites young artists of all ages and disciplines in a dynamic multidisciplinary sampler. The fast-paced production utilizes every corner of the scenic lakeside venue—from the stage to the aisles—and features performers in grades 3-12 from all seven of the Camp’s artistic disciplines: music, theatre, dance, creative writing, visual arts, film & new media, and interdisciplinary arts. Students from the Camp’s Visual Arts Division will draw and paint original works during the performance.
“‘Collage’ allows our audience to step into a world of inspiration as we showcase our students at their best,” said Brent Wrobel, executive director of Interlochen Presents. “From mesmerizing dance routines that defy gravity to soul-stirring musical compositions that resonate deep within, our students are ready to dazzle you with their talent and passion. Prepare to be amazed by the creativity, dedication, and skill of our students as they take center stage and bring their artistic visions to life.”
Audiences are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy free pre-‘Collage’ performances. A pre-‘Collage’ piano recital will be held in the Fine Arts Building at 6:30 p.m.; additional performances will begin around 6:45 p.m. on Osterlin Mall.
