Alexandra Cockrell
About Alexandra
Alexandra Cockrell (she/they) is a UK-trained actor, director, and educator based out of New York City. She is an alumna of Interlochen Arts Academy as well as Interlochen Arts Camp’s intermediate and high school theatre division. They received their Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Credit highlights include the world premiere of Self Tape (Alchemical Theatre Lab); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Interlochen Shakespeare Festival); The Spy and Tar and Feather (Williamstown Theatre Festival); The Nina Variations (Doghouse Ensemble Theatre); Medea (Parallel 45); and Coriolanus, The Merchant of Venice, The Country Wife, The Seagull, The Cherry Orchard, and 13 (The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland). Film/TV credits include Law and Order: SVU, Missing Out, and Runaway.
Cockrell has performed all over the world, including in London, Taiwan, and St. Petersburg, Russia. She has previously taught at StART Osceola and with Venture Theatre Ensemble, a classical theatre company based in Bermuda, of which she is a co-founder.
