Amanda Lifvendahl is Interlochen Center for the Art’s Costume Shop Supervisor.
Before coming to Interlochen, Lifvendahl spent 16 years working in Chicago at Broadway Costumes, Inc. as the Theatrical Show Rentals Manager and as a freelance costume designer, technician, and wardrobe supervisor in the Chicagoland area, including work at The Goodman Theatre, The Royal George Theatre, The Black Orchid Room at Pipers Alley, The Mercury Theatre, and Steppenwolf Theatre.
Previous designs for the Interlochen Shakespeare Festival include The Niceties and Sanctuary City. Recent Interlochen Arts Academy and Interlochen Arts Camp costume designs include An American in Paris, Cinderella (ballet), Romeo & Juliet (ballet), Anything Goes, and The Tempest.
