Ashton Freeman is a Brooklyn-based writer and artist. They are a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and received their B.A. in liberal arts. Their work has appeared in Foglifter, Milk Press, and Love & Squalor. To find their work—search under rocks, in your sock drawer, and the late afternoon. Prior to Sarah Lawrence College, Freeman was a student at Interlochen Arts Academy.

I encourage my students to engage creatively with their surroundings–to see the world with magic and to channel it into their writings.
