About Avani

Avani (She/They/He) Venkat is very excited to be returning to Interlochen Arts Camp as a teaching assistant! They attended the Camp as part of the Intermediate Theatre program in 2019. A freshman in college, Venkat has a significant amount of experience with leadership and working with children of all ages. In her free time, she enjoys card games, traveling, performing in regional, community, and college theatre, and spending time with their family and friends. They cannot wait to meet their new students.

I believe that the classroom is a space where students should feel safe to make mistakes, challenege themselves, and be challenged to push themselves to the next level. There is a space for everyone in the arts regardless of race, identity, size, etc. You are welcome here!
