About Baldvin

Baldvin Kári is an Icelandic screenwriter and film producer currently teaching screenwriting at Wayne State University as well as working at the Icelandic Film Centre as a Film Consultant. He served as producer on the Icelandic feature film Rift which premiered at the Gothenburg International Film Festival in 2017. Baldvin has also worked as Production Manager on a number of Icelandic feature films, including The County (2019) by Grímur Hákonarson and A24's Lamb by Valdimar Jóhannsson. Lamb was shortlisted for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film in 2022.

My students will have a chance to share their stories and creativity with others through the art of impactful storytelling.
