Cassie Pilgrim
About Cassie
A native of Chamblee, Georgia, Cassie Pilgrim is the Principal Oboist of The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. In addition, she has performed as a guest musician with the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, as well as numerous festivals including the Sarasota Music Festival, Music at Angel Fire, and Festival Mozaic. Pilgrim has been a featured soloist with the SPCO, Summerville Orchestra, and NPR’s From The Top. In addition to performing, Pilgrim has enjoyed teaching and performing as a guest recitalist in master classes across the country and for NYO2. Her major teachers include Richard Woodhams, Robert Walters, and Elizabeth Koch Tiscione.
I believe the best thing I can do for my students is to empower them to reach their full potential, always striving for the deepest level of self-expression and understanding.
