About David
Following graduation from the University of Michigan, David moved from his rural hometown in Michigan to Los Angeles. After working on a number of television shows, David eventually landed at Jeff Tremaine's production company, Gorilla Flicks, which would be his home for the years ahead. While his time mentoring under Tremaine, David would go on to produce and shoot on a number of commercials, TV shows, and films for Gorilla Flicks including Netflix's The Dirt and Bad Trip.
David made his directorial debut in 2018 with his award-winning short film, Year Zero. The film has won Best Short awards at the DC Asian American Pacific Film Festival, Vancouver Asian Film Festival, Manhattan International Film Festival, and Hell's Half-Mile Film Festival.
