About Eric
Eric Blackburn began teaching in 2006 and joined the faculty at Interlochen in 2011. He currently serves as Dean of Academics, as well as serving as the director of the humanities and languages departments. Along with his work as an administrator, he teaches courses including "Social Justice, Humanities, and the Arts" and "Literature and Culture of the American West."
I want my students to seek out the connections between what we're studying and the lives they're leading, to use the skills we practice in class to engage more fully with the world around them.
