Ian Eylanbekov
About Ian
A recent graduate of the University of Michigan, Ian Eylanbekov is returning for his second summer teaching at Interlochen Arts Camp. Eylanbekov has played with numerous bands around the Midwest, including Sabbatical Bob and Big Chemical. He recently moved to New York City to pursue more musical opportunities.
I encourage my students to play and/or listen to music that makes them feel good everyday. I also encourage my students to play and to listen to music together as much as possible.
- Played with indie rock band Snail Mail on their 2018 summer tour in North America and Europe
- Recorded albums with Sabbatical Bob, Lily Talmers, Big Chemical, Cultivator, and other groups
- Performed at the 2020 Detroit Jazz Festival
