Jane West
About Jane
Jane has been guiding forest bathing walks since 2015 and was the first certified nature and forest therapy guide in Colorado. Since then, she has brought these lovely wellness walks to individuals, couples, groups of all kinds including wedding parties, frontline medical and mental health professionals, and community leaders from all over.
Jane has also been a part of the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy international training team and has helped naturalists in Colorado integrate forest bathing into their existing activities. She has provided snowshoe nature tours and alpine and telemark ski lessons in Colorado for over 25 years. Jane is a longstanding licensed professional counselor and child development specialist. For several decades, Jane has worked as a documentary producer making international films on the environment and global health for public television.
Jane is also the parent of an Interlochen Arts Academy alum and that is how she came to know the beauty that fills its campus.
