About Jeremy

Jeremy Evans (he/him) is pleased to be returning to Interlochen. Evans currently teaches music and theatre at Glen Lake Community Schools. A sought after-director, voice coach, and choreographer, Evans’ work can be seen regularly throughout the northern Michigan region. A proud union member of Actors' Equity, Evans’ regional credits include Morgan/Walter in The Inheritance, Ensemble in Everybody, Feste in Twelfth Night with the Interlochen Shakespeare Festival, Jinx in several productions and national tours of Forever Plaid, and Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors. Additionally Evans has been a soloist with Traverse City and Alma Symphonies. Evans graduated from Alma College with a Bachelor of Music. He studied acting with the M.F.A program at the University of Alabama, and did graduate music education study at Boston University.
