About Liz

Liz Teutsch is an audio professional and educator, currently teaching at Berklee College of Music and Interlochen Online. An Associate Professor on Berklee’s campus in Valencia, Spain, Teutsch teaches courses at both the graduate and undergraduate level in music production, recording, and mixing techniques. Her career as an audio professional includes recording, mixing, mastering and production in a vast array of musical styles ranging from jazz to hard rock to electronica. She is an in-demand public speaker and lecturer and has presented at conferences including Ableton Loop, CD Baby DIY Musician Conference, She Knows Tech Summit, and TEDx.

Teutsch formerly served as the Director of Academic Technology at Berklee as well as the Director of Audio Production at Boston University's Center for Digital Imaging Arts. She is an active member of the Audio Engineering Society and recently completed a two-year post as the AES Vice President of the Southern Europe, Middle East, and Africa Region.

Teutsch is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Berklee College of Music.
