London Parker
About London
London Parker completed a two-year Artist in Residence position at Interlochen Center for the Arts, and then began a dual position in Visual Arts and Animation. In this role London brings to students a wealth of professional experience in visual arts instruction and tutelage. In the coming years, he will focus on developing a curriculum that will help bridge the gap between the visual arts and animation, developing students’ technical skills while also covering evergreen topics in art and design.
London obtained his MFA in Traditional Animation from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. He recently worked as a graphic artist and webmaster at Coastal Carolina Community College. With experience in design, fine art, and animation, he believes that knowledge in many disciplines helps inform each art form.
A dedication to education and artistic improvement is an important theme among London’s core values and has led to a passion for lifelong learning, an asset he applies regularly when instructing on topics that are constantly evolving.
My goal has always been to create a new expectation of excellence from one's self, to set a benchmark of quality that you no longer accept anything below.
