About Margaret

Maggie Graber is a poet and the author of Swan Hammer (MSU Press, 2022), winner of the 2021 Wheelbarrow Poetry Prize, and a finalist for a Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters Award. She is a Luminarts Cultural Foundation Fellow and formerly a certified Wilderness First Responder, environmental educator, and college radio DJ. Her poems have been featured in The Louisville Review, RHINO, Southern Indiana Review, and elsewhere. She currently lives in Oxford, Mississippi, where she has served as poetry editor for Yalobusha Review and is finishing up her doctorate in creative writing at the University of Mississippi.
