About Megan

Megan Emmendorfer’s passion has always been to work and educate young minds. Before Interlochen, Emmendorfer worked as a special education paraprofessional, an academic coach, and finally as a school social worker. In these positions, Emmendorfer provided socio-emotional behavioral interventions and supports to special education and general education students. Emmendorfer strives to create an environment where young artists feel supported, heard, and free from judgment.

I have found that compassion, empathy, and being a listening ear are the stepping stones to developing a strong working relationship; which in turn, creates lasting and positive growth within young minds!
