Melinda Zacher Ronayne
About Melinda
Melinda Zacher Ronayne is the Director of Visual Arts at Interlochen Center for the Arts. Ronayne received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and her Masters of Art in Arts Education from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore (MICA). Before Interlochen, she taught art at the Design and Architecture Senior High School, a visual arts magnet school in Miami. Ronayne also served as an admission counselor and coordinator of scholarship programs at MICA. In this role, she visited hundreds of high school visual arts programs around the country, evaluating the work of high school students who had an interest in continuing their studies in visual arts. She currently serves as a Board Member for the Great Lakes Children's Museum and has presented at conferences across the country, including for the National Arts Schools Network and the National Art Education Association.
