Michaella Barton
About Michaella
Michaella Barton will be returning to teach Acting and Creative Movement for the second year in a row. Her most recent accomplishments in 2022 include choreographing the musical Mama Mia! and teaching Dance and Movement at Warren Consolidated School of Performing Arts. She has also worked with multiple programs learning and co-teaching Dalcroze Eurythmics this past year. She looks forward to helping her students explore dance, movement, and a unique world of storytelling as they work together to build a piece that they will share with their classmates and loved ones at the end of each session.
I believe in the process of collaborative creation and exploration starting from a place of freedom and giving students specific tools, while adding in structure and places to apply those tools. This allows for their original freedom, personal ideas, connections, and creations to shine through the structure with each student's unique voice.
