About Sacha

Sacha Grandoit is a classically trained Haitian American actress, published playwright, writer, director, professor, and producer with an M.F.A. in Acting from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television. Sacha made her Off Broadway debut and toured with her one woman shows, Who You Calling A Bitch?!? and Biscuits, which she wrote, directed, produced. She is the proud recipient of the Hollywood Fringe Scholarship Award and received a nomination for The Rogue Machine’s “Premiere” award for Who You Calling A Bitch?!? In addition, her monologues from this show are published in Best Monologues of 2019 by True Acting Institute, Straus and Kraus.  

Past performances include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Williamstown Theater Festival), A Winter’s Tale (New Jersey Shakes Festival), Red Noses (The Actors Gang), and Fabulation or the Re-Education of Undine (West Coast Ensemble). Sacha served as the Artistic Director at Southern Rep Theatre in New Orleans and is a member of the advisory board at No Dream Deferred theatre in New Orleans. She is also a member of PEN America.
