Yvonne Cheng leads strategic recruitment, identifying and cultivating new and existing partnerships and facilitating prospective applicants’ discovery of Interlochen Arts Academy. As a member of the Admission team, she helps steward students and families through the application, enrollment, and onboarding journey.
Prior to joining Interlochen, Cheng spent over 20 years as a Marketing and eCommerce executive designing and implementing campaigns and innovative experiences for retail and consumer product brands. Most recently she served as the VP of Direct-to-Consumer and Omnichannel experience for Halo Pets, responsible for the digital portion of the customer lifecycle from the marketing to online sales performance. Endlessly curious about emerging technologies and their impact on human behavior, Cheng played an integral role in a digital transformation at Crate and Barrel. By discovering and building key partnerships she enabled the brand to launch several products and services to serve an increasingly connected, omnichannel customer.
Cheng’s passion for the arts and education has led to marketing and board positions at professional dance companies in her native Chicago, including at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Ronald Knox Montessori school.
