Costume Design Intensive
Why Take Costume Design Intensive
Explore how costume designers help tell their characters' stories through what they wear on stage. Learn how costumers work collaboratively with a theatre design and production team to help create new, visual worlds—while taking both the performer and the viewer to another place and time.
What You'll Learn
You'll take an in–depth look into the world of costume design, trends, and technology. In this design-focused, hands–on intensive program, you'll gain practical costume design skills in each phase of the design process. You'll work closely with a professional designer during your time at Arts Camp as you master core capacities— from concept to renderings to the techniques required to bring costume pieces to life and onto performers. (Note: This is not a sewing or construction class.)
