Join an Open House or On-Campus Event
Join other prospective students and their families for a day devoted to learning about life at Interlochen.
You'll have the flexibility to move at your own pace while participating in informative group activities. You can also request an audition or artistic meeting during the day.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Meet other families and prospective students
- Schedule an artistic meeting, audition, or portfolio review
- Visit classes
- Observe rehearsal and studio practice
- Meet faculty, staff, and current students
- Learn about campus life and financial aid
- Attend an evening student performance (complimentary tickets are available for most performances and can be reserved through the Office of Admission & Financial Aid)

Strings Day

You are invited to join us for Strings Day at Interlochen Arts Academy. During Strings Day, you will have the opportunity to sit in on master classes with guest musicians from prestigious orchestras and teaching institutions. Guest artists include:
- Sergiu Schwartz, Professor and The William B. and Sue Marie Turner Distinguished Faculty Chair in Violin, Schwob School of Music at Columbia State University
- Kirsten Docter, Associate Professor of Viola and Chamber Music, Oberlin Conservatory
- Amir Eldan, Professor of Music, Cello, University of Michigan
- Ju-Fang Liu, Principal Bass, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Arts Academy alumna
- Charles Overton, Assistant Professor of Harp, Boston Conservatory at Berklee
Students are strongly encouraged to aslo attend Friday's Open House on Oct. 11 to experience what it's like to be a student at Interlochen Arts Academy. Please register for the Friday Open House separately at this link.

The opportunity to tour our campus is available Monday through Friday. Register for a personalized tour and a member of the Admission team will reach out to you about scheduling.

Financial Aid Virtual Events
If you are interested in applying for financial aid, applicants will need to submit a Clarity Application. Learn more about Clarity through an information session, open to all families. During the live session, Clarity will go over some key aspects of the application, things to look out for, materials to gather, how to get help, how the tax verification process works, and a robust Q&A. Webinar recordings will be available.
