Chamber Music Camp

Violinist playing in an orchestra

Strengthen your skills and develop your musicianship as you play, polish, and perform great works of chamber music under the guidance of accomplished string, keyboard, and woodwind musicians.

Open to instrumentalists of varied skill levels, this one-week program allows you to explore chamber music through instruction, rehearsal, and performance. A variety of class options provide an enriching and flexible experience to all participants. The program includes:

  • Lectures & Conversations
  • Master classes
  • Participant performances
  • Large conducted reading ensembles

The program also includes a Chamber Concert Series—daily performances featuring our professional quartet-in-residence and faculty members from leading university music programs.

You can choose to be placed in an ensemble upon arrival, or participate in the program with your existing chamber music group. If you elect to be placed in an ensemble, you will work with faculty coaches on a variety of works for the duration of the week. Existing groups should plan to bring 1-2 works they’d like to refine and receive feedback from our acclaimed faculty.

You’ll emerge with sharpened performance skills and several polished new pieces to add to your repertoire list.
