Richard Cogdal (UNIV 35-39) of Urbana, Illinois, passed away on April 30, 2024.

Carol Gray (IAC/NMC 51) of Frankfort, Michigan, passed away on Dec. 19, 2024.

Nancy Bausch Thomas (IAC/NMC 52-53) of Kenilworth, Illinois, passed away on Dec. 13, 2024.

Adella Lyon (AS 60) of DeWitt, Michigan, passed away on Feb. 2, 2024.

Mabel Kinder (IAA 63-65) of Columbia, Missouri, passed away on Jan. 20, 2025.

Kazuo (Kaz) Tokito (IAC/NMC 65-66, IAA 65-67, IAC/NMC 65-66) of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, passed away on Dec. 28, 2024. Born in Sapporo, Japan, Kaz came to the U.S. to attend Interlochen Arts Academy, graduating in 1967. After earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees in flute performances, he served as Assistant Principal for Flute and Piccolo with the Vancouver Symphony for several years before joining the Philadelphia Orchestra in 1981, where he played for 35 years until retiring in 2016. He was a longtime teacher at the Boyer College of Music and Dance at Temple University.
