Percussion
Applicants should demonstrate skills on snare drum, timpani, and keyboard percussion.
An etude or solo demonstrating time and rhythm as well as rolls, flams, and multiple grace notes. Concert snare drum solos are suggested, but rudimental solos will be accepted. Suggestions for specific snare drum repertoire:

- Keith Aleo – Advanced Etudes for Snare Drum
- Jacques Delecluse – 12 Studies for Snare Drum
An etude or solo using 2, 3 or 4 drums, demonstrating tone quality, rhythm, and tuning. Suggestions for specific repertoire:
- Hochrainer etudes (vol. 1, 2, or 3)
- Vic Firth, The Solo Timpanist
- Mitchell Peters, Fundamental Solos for Timpani
- Raynor Carroll solos
A two or four mallet solo on xylophone, marimba or vibraphone demonstrating tone quality, accuracy and musicality. A variety of repertoire is acceptable and applicants should play what they are most comfortable with. Suggested repertoire: Bach, Musser, Abe, Burritt and Rosauro, Sammut.
