Program Highlights

Trumpet Ensemble

Each day, you will join your peers for Trumpet Ensemble rehearsals. The Trumpet Ensemble performs a diverse and challenging repertoire that highlights the broad range of the trumpet and offers an opportunity to practice the techniques you have studied in class.

Master Classes

During the intensive, master classes are a daily occurrence. Led by our faculty and guests, these classes provide professional perspectives on standard trumpet repertoire—and offer you the chance to work one-on-one with these acclaimed artists.

Faculty Recitals

Listening to music is an important part of studying it. That's why our faculty present several solo and chamber recitals during the intensive. In addition to performances by trumpet faculty, you are welcome to attend recitals by the faculty of any other institute.

Additional Opportunities

Want to continue your Interlochen journey? Stay after the intensive for our six-week Orchestra & Wind Symphony program or our three-week Jazz Performance & Improvisation program.
