Interlochen will once again convene multiple New York City-based youth arts organizations for performances and master classes at venues across the city during a March 4-9, 2025 residency. The institution will also identify talented young artists from the New York area and invite these gifted students to attend Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan on full-tuition scholarships.

“We are honored to work with some of the leading creative youth development organizations in New York City, and with the talented students they serve,” said Interlochen Center for the Arts president Trey Devey. “This group of faculty and students is eager to engage with their peers in New York. Together, these artists—both student and professional—personify the hope we have for a world made stronger and more connected through the arts. We are excited to continue to build on our commitment to serve the youth of New York and encourage lasting collaborations, both in their hometown and on Interlochen’s campus this summer. We are grateful to each and every partner organization for the robust, meaningful work they do every day, and we anticipate a fruitful time together.”The Interlochen-New York Creative Youth Development Initiative, established in 2022, strives to provide life-changing experiences to young artists through top-level training and high-profile performance opportunities.
