Why Take Acting Company Production
Are you ready to immerse yourself in theatre? Our acting company production program is a chance for serious young actors to work with world-class faculty to fine-tune their skills, connect with other artists, and plan for a future in the performing arts.
What You'll Learn
In this pre-professional training program, you'll take courses to further develop your acting and performance skills. You'll also perform in a play from classical or contemporary repertoire, with full design and technical support in Interlochen's state-of-the-art Harvey Theatre.
To prepare for the production, repertory acting camp students participate in the following:
- Production rehearsal
- Acting technique class
- Classes in voice and movement
Announcing the theatre titles for Interlochen Arts Camp 2024
Camp students will perform a diverse selection of classic and contemporary theatre works, including Shakespeare’s The Tempest and Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical.
Life is about being bold and being yourself completely. It's scary to let yourself be vulnerable and uncomfortable, but I've embraced that here—and it's helping me grow.
